Rewelting of the leather strip running the perimeter of the outsole. I use Bakers leather from England in 2/3mm thickness to ensure a durable welt. Stitched by hand with handmade 6 ply linen thread waxed with a coad wax(Beeswax and Resin) that adds extra durability and waterproofing. A labour intensive process that ensures your beloved shoes can be bought back even in their last legs.
